What devices does Telltale run on?
iOS, Android, the web (any modern browser), and macOS. Your data syncs across all of them in real time.
Do I need an account?
Yes — Telltale syncs your vessels, tasks, and parts catalog across devices, which requires an account. You can sign in with Google or with email and password.
Is there a free tier?
Yes. The free tier covers a single vessel with full access to systems, tasks, and parts tracking. Captain Rusty AI and multi-vessel support are part of the Pro plan.

What is the Quick Rig Package?
Quick Rig is a library of pre-built templates for common boat models. Pick yours and your systems, tasks, and parts catalog populate in seconds — saving you a weekend of data entry.
What if my exact boat isn't in Quick Rig?
Pick the closest match and edit anything that's different — templates are a head start, not a cage. You can also build a vessel from scratch.
Can I import data from a spreadsheet?
Bulk import for parts and maintenance history is on the roadmap. For now, Quick Rig templates cover most of the heavy lifting.
Captain Rusty AI
What is Captain Rusty?
Captain Rusty is an AI first mate that knows your boat's exact configuration. Ask diagnostic questions, get part numbers, plan repairs — answers are grounded in your actual systems and maintenance history.
Is my data used to train AI models?
No. Conversations with Captain Rusty are not used to train models. Your vessel data stays yours.

Where is my data stored?
In Google's Firebase cloud infrastructure, encrypted in transit and at rest. See our Privacy Policy for full detail.
How do I delete my account?
Settings → Account → Delete Account inside the app, or email privacy@gettelltale.com. See the Data Deletion page for full instructions.
